What would you do if an alien landed in your house? Just ask the Tanner family! On Septemeber 22, 1986, an alien by the name of Gordon Shumway accidentally crashed his spaceship into the home of the Tanner family. What were they to do with an alien? Call the police? No, of course not. They hid him in their home for four years and nicknamed him ALF (a.k.a. Alien Life Form). So where was Alf originally from? Melmac, another planet that had previously blown up and was the product of this alien residing to Earth. Alf was always getting into mischief. He would chase the family cat Lucky, eat everything that crossed his path, or break everything worth any value. Despite all those things, the Tanner family still loved this fuzzy creature. In the last episode of the series, just as the U.S. government's Alien Task Force closed in to capture this fuzzy little creature, Alf was contacted by two other Melmacians named Skip and Rhonda to help colonize a new planet. Talk about a cliffhanger!
